Welcome to Alloway Quilting!

Hi! My name is Penny. I am a mother, a pharmacist, and a quilter! Learning to quilt has been a lifelong goal for me. I finally decided to learn when my son was born and that is when my quilting journey began. I caught that quilting bug and seem to have leaned in to the whole process. I love every part of it... the fabric buying, measuring, cutting, piecing, and finally quilting. To see that finished product is so satisfying!

Once I saw a longarm in action, I knew that I needed to learn that as well. A few years, and a lot of saving later, I was able to purchase my Gammill Statler. Her name is Big Bertha and she is AMAZING! She and I have worked so hard together to make beautiful quilts that will last generations. I talk about her like everyone knows who she is!
